Attention to those interested in beekeeping or learning about honey bees in Bell, McLennan, and Falls County and the surrounding areas. The Texas Area Beekeepers Association, or TAB(A) invite everyone to come out and experience the fascinating hobby of beekeeping. Novices and experts alike, they invite you out to hear lectures from visiting partners, biologists, other beekeepers and more. TAB(A) offers tutoring lessons for those who are just beginning their hives or knowledge. Meetings are held the second Thursday evening of each month at 7 PM at the City of Troy Community Center building. Take I-35 to exit 308 (Troy) and go East on Main Street (FM 935). The building is on the right, just across the railroad tracks, at 201 East Main Street. The door to enter will be on the East side of the building (opposite side from the railroad tracks). A monthly newsletter encompassing world bee news, training, work shops, events in Central Texas that will be highlighting Bee Events and more, will be sent to those who join and submit their social network addresses. Please come out for a visit to learn about this great contribution to keeping our world healthy.
Call Bob Billings at 254-231-5993, or Jim Billings at 254-760-2053 for more information on learning basics to advanced bee keeping and joining the association.
Come out and join up. We hope you will BEE apart of a growing, earthly concern!
