A short history
Bruceville-Eddy was formed when the two neighboring communities of Bruceville and Eddy incorporated together as a single city in April 1974. Both towns trace their roots to the early 1880s, when they became stations on the Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad — the “Katy” line — in 1882. You can read more on our history of Bruceville-Eddy page.
